With a strong backbone in dredging, Jaisu Shipping Company has taken up large dredging contracts at Kandla and Cochin worth well over 1500 million INR and plans to contribute to the largest dredging contract in the history of India by bidding for the Sethusamudram Ship Channel.

Jaisu Shipping Company Pvt Ltd became the member of International Tanker Owners Pollution Federation Limited when it became the first company to build a double hull oil tanker in India . Jaisu Shipping Company built this vessel as a tanker with no prior experience. T he Indian Registry of Shipping registered KAMAL XXI as the first Indian double hull tanker.

Jaisu Shipping is the only private tanker operating company for the last 16 years with two dedicated bunker supply tankers certified to carry all grades of bunker fuel as per the I.M.O. regulations and O.C.I.MF guidelines for double banking operations. We have the requisite experience of operating a dedicated fuel oil facility at Kandla exclusively for bunkering. Over the years Jaisu has specialized in bunker supply to offshore rigs and large offshore vessels.

The company has overgrown and multiplied its asset value over 100 times since its establishment. The success that the company has achieved in every field they entered has been remarkable. Although the company has not specialized itself in the field of new construction and shipbuilding it has capabilities and well versed engineers to cater to its own demands. It has constructed various different crafts and vessels over the time period of 12 years. Future plans include construction for a new cutter suction dredger. Construction has begun for a second double hull tanker Kamal XXII with 1550 tonnes bunker holding capacity. Jaisu has also built Kamal XV their first Anchor handling tug which has been very efficient and to meet future requirement the company has started construction of two more anchor handling tugs.

Free from the influence, guidance, or control of others Jaisu Shipping Company's spare parts and machining needs are independent, self-contained, and self-reliant. The company maintains a 24/7 workshop and repair facility with a professional crew strength of 300 people. Starting from the bare minimum needs of machining custom size nuts and bolts the company has machined and constructed propellers up to 3 meters in diameter. Recent works include manufacturing of a grabs with 4 M 3 capacities in less than 10 days time. The spares department holds spares for every engine part and the engine as a whole, thus cutting down on the downtime for maintenance in an efficient manner.
